Mark Charendoff is the President of the Maimonides Fund, a private grantmakingorganization dedicated to education and Jewish identity in North America and inIsrael. He is the former President of the Jewish Funders Network (JFN), an umbrella body of over 900 Jewish family foundations and independent funders. Prior to JFN, Mark was the Vice President of the Andrea and Charles Bronfman Philanthropies where he helped to establish the Birthright Israel program, and he previously served as Director of Jewish Educational Services for the JCC Association of North America. He currently serves on the boards of the Birthright Israel Foundation, Shalem College and Moishe House. He is the recipient of the Bernard Reisman Award for Professional Excellence from Brandeis University
