SHEKEL is works to support and assist people with disabilities throughout the country, including the southern region and the Gaza perimeter. Currently, they are mobilizing to care for thousands of people with disabilities and their families under wartime circumstances.
For people with special needs, having to cope with the fear and complexity of wartime situations, including trauma and bereavement, is overwhelmingly difficult to bear.
