The “Or Yarok” association was established in 1997 by Yona Noor and Avi Noor after their son Ran was killed in a car accident in 1995. The establishment arose out of recognizing the supreme importance of an uncompromising fight against road accidents and the importance of the community’s involvement in it. Their goal is to reduce the number of victims in traffic accidents as much as possible, and to influence the change of driving culture in Israel. Currently, Or Yarok has mobilized for the residents of the south and the north who were evacuated from their homes and holds a variety of respite activities for children and youth to ease the difficult time they are facing
