Hadassah Hospitals are operating in full emergency mode, with both our trauma and emergency centers experiencing a significant increase in patients. They also continue to aid families from the south who have sought shelter in the Jerusalem region and have begun offering emergency mental health services for those suffering from anxiety and trauma responses.
They are preparing to grapple with long-term requirements of patient care and anticipate every patient Hadassah Medical Organization (HMO) is treating will need rehabilitation. Existing rehabilitation infrastructure is insufficient, and this will only exacerbate throughout and following this war. Accordingly, HMO is expediting the opening of the Gandel Rehabilitation Center, Hadassah International’s signature project, to address the growing need for treating war-related injuries.
