Herzog Hospital is Israel’s foremost center for geriatric, respiratory, mental health and psychotrauma care, treatment and research. Herzog opened its 160 bed Sheltered Underground Hospital to receive non critical patients from hospitals in the south, mainly serving geriatric patients in rehabilitation and respiratory care departments. This will enable additional space for hospitals in the south dealing with critical patients. They urgently need medical supplies.
