A Pittsburgh native, David is the Executive Chairman of Giant Eagle, Inc. Through the Foundation he leads with his wife Cindy, the Shapira’s have worked on numerous projects which have had a positive impact on the formation of strong Jewish identities and attachment to Israel for large numbers of young Jews.
