Birthright recruits Israelis for mifgash with Jewish volunteers

As hundreds of volunteers land each week, our partner Birthright is looking for Israelis to join them.

Thanks to a partnership between Mosaic United and the Ministry for Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism with Birthright, thousands of volunteers are arriving on Israel’s shores to help in the aftermath of October 7th.

As part of the program, Jews from abroad will meet their Israeli contemporaries. Mifgash – encounters between Jews from abroad with their peers in Israel – is considered one of the most effective tools in creating a long-term connection and a deeper understanding of participants’ cultures.

Birthright is recruiting Israelis to meet with Jews aged 20 to 35 who are here as part of their two week volunteering mission.
